What is Zumba?
Zumba is a fusion of dynamic moves including salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggaton, hip hop, belly dancing and much more! Zumba is a synergy of fitness moves intertwined with dance routines to amazing beats and rhythms.
Who can do Zumba?
The greatest part about Zumba is that you don’t have to know how to dance. Anyone can do it. Young and old, beginners to advanced – There are no requirements other than liking music and wanting to have fun!
How Will I Benefit from Zumba?
- Zumba is a fat and calorie burning workout. Average calories burned during a Zumba class – 600 to 1000.
- Zumba leaves you with a ‘feel good’ sensation using easy to follow dance steps to infectious music.
- Zumba is a body sculpting workout that has the potential to reshape your body including arms and hips. Zumba is also a fantastic core workout that targets the abs and back to increase agility and strength while toning.
- Zumba provides you with a fantastic sweat without even realising you are working out.
What Should I Wear?
You need to make sure you wear comfortable work out clothes that won’t restrict your movements and sneakers.
What Do I need to bring?
You only need to bring water, a small towel and your PARTY ATTITUDE!
Do I need to arrive before the class start time?
Yes! It is a good idea to arrive 5 - 10 minutes before the class starts to sign in, say hello and get ready to party!
